MAM (Mitsui) DVD-R still high quality???

I've used Mitsui media for years with great success. However, is their quality the same since they became MAM? I tested a DVD-R inkjet printable edge to edge printable DVD-R with plextools professional and noticed the PIE errors to be at times as high as 364 max with the average being 19.67. This same file burned with a Ty-Yuden has minimal errors with the average being 0.08. Older Mitsuis had very low errors but not the latest batch. These were burned with a Pioneer A07. Anyone else using mitsui out there?
