Hi,
Wondering - please comment.
What is the best DVD Burner software? Preferably one that can burn by splitting with the best quality?

Your title is a little misleading ... why didn't you include the word "software" in the title. It looks like your asking for the best dvd burner.

If your splitting the discs, so there is no need for compression ... just look for the programs that have the split disc feature. If no compression is used, I don't think there will be a "best" program ... but some may have a preference :)

I know, but look at the title of the thread "Best DVD Burner" ... Not "Best DVD Burner software".
Also, Karetoon prefers a program that can split the disc. Not all backup software can do this. So I recommend Karetoon try the programs that can split discs ... so there is no need for compression. Most programs have trial versions. And the question of "Best backup software" has been discussed ... and it comes down to preference.

Actually that is quite wrong. Try following the link and actually reading posts there, you might just find we offer alot help and some fun for our members.
As for what you call our "quick tempers" most of us respond to the comments YOU make and ask for a response.
Once again the offer remains open for you, and any other Mod or member to come over to our place and see what we have to offer.

Man, this is wrong. Why all the spamming? I visit both sites and both offer their own help. If the AD folks don't want you to post your links, don't post them. I know ni4ni is out this week, but I can't image that he would condon this on behalf of his site. I know you guys are doing this for the users, but this is AD's site. Why trash it and the mods for doing what they want with it? The market place will eventually determine where the users go. If ni4ni wanted to host the 321 site, he should have stepped up and offered. AD did step up and offer. And stop stressing out IRELAND. He does all this for free and has helped hundreds over the YEARS. Sure, some of the mods here are pricks, but IRELAND isn't one of them. Nuff said.

You guys are unreal, flip asked nicely, more than once. These are AD rules, not his rules, he's only trying to enforce AD rules.
If you don't like it go to your forum and wait for the people to come there, you are in essence over here trying to take members to your site.
Buy an ad, I'm sure they'll sell you space.

I gotta say that I'm a little disappointed and a little confused by all this.
I really wanted to know the answer to the original questions as I am having trouble burning a particular movie on to Dvd. I use windvd creator and so far it's been great, but it won't burn a dvd formatted film. HP told me that I need a programme that will adjust the dpi.
Please can someone help me.

Best dvd burner: Pioneer, Plextor, NEC ... Sony have gotten good commments.
Best DVD Burner software: Lots of good programs. Start with DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter (because both are free). You can also check out this thread:
