I recently asked an experienced person, how he "squished" his videos into 600mb and less, and still achieved High Quality (he then, gave me a handwritten "short, incomplete" Tekkie tutorial--then, will not return my Emails~!)---and eventhough I have accomplished that feat--I am having an audio/video sync problem (with the AVI), and the "original" VOB/.D2V, and I need your guidance~!
First, I used CladDVD--to rip the DVD
...Then, (per CladDVD tutorial) used these settings:
Ran CladDVD--and it produced these (3) files:
Then used DBPoweramp, to convert 1gig audio file---to 40mb MP3:
Now, using VirtualDubMOD 1.5---opened file>Video>compression:
Then "configured" Xvid (per "exp" person)---with these settings:
Ran VirtualDubMOD 1.5:
..and result was: "High Quality" AVI file....but Audio Sync problem~!!
Getting disappointed, I tried to open JUST the VOB file (NOT the Xvid AVI file) in "TmpgEnc Plus 2.5", "DVD Dcrypter" or "TmpgEnc Express"---I get this "Error Message":
Now, I am stuck with an almost 5gig UNburnable DVD (it's too big, but perfect sync+pic)---and cannot be able to find a tutorial (in plain ENGLISH~) that will help me "squeeze" these CladDVD created (3) files: ".D2V + VOB + AC3" onto CD's (like you "pro" guys)~!
