Upload mgcamd from the dbox fix to var/bin. Change the file attributes for mgcamd to 755 via your ftp client. Upload the other 3 files to var/keys. Enable mgcamd in the cam menu.

not a sausage!i am tryin ss2 etc leavingit for 2/3 mins screen goes blank then tryin up or down but to no avail.Tried the evoam on and off but still the same. Should I adopt the lenghty fix for this?or anyone any ideas. I get epg on each channel and even some of the terrestrials come in but all theothers blank screen. Thanks

Would Anyone be able to tell me the on screen prcedure to flash the dreambox 500 with an image ( the new fix )using flash fxp,connecting via the router, it wont connect using a null modem and dreamup, nothing happens after it says "switch on box" .
The box is working with a DW2.0 image when connected to TV , i need to install the new DK image.
I can drag and drop the new files(HYPERCAM 1.06) with FLASHFXP,but it wont work with the current image.

based dublin draemed up no bother scanned.can see all channels etc but no updating. Thanks hadmad appreciate ur efforts to help

am in d20 area have flashed lots before mostly SV&Euro but done this one before xmas last for my neighbour and no bother.Std NThell cable nothin weird.Done the dream up with ur img waited rebooted done a scan got the 180 channels went to slytwo first as its always been my best one to update on. Wait mins tried others just blank screen nothing!!!then press ok try another channel same?does this help?

for sure every channel has its desc of what on at the time and pressin infi gives u more detail Its got each channel and I can see the signal strenght in th egreen bar across the top but no picture on all except for bout 20 or so which are available on std NThell

what % are you getting in the bottom right conner when you press info on a ch that is not working it should be 90% or more to get pic this is the link you need

######HELP NEDED###### I have just tried the dreambox fix seem to have done everything right ive changed the attributes to 755 but when i highlight hypercam 1.06. and Press red button to execute the progress bar goes up a small bit then nothing.
Any help much appreciated.

Press ok instead of red button and then execute see if that helps. Restart after each attempt of executing it though as if you do it twice it won't work till you power off.

When it says do you want to flash erase click no.
reboot the dreambox and search for all your channels using Dublin NTL.
Press blue button on remote, to go to Tuxbox Commander.
Select var folder
select the bin folder
hightlight hypercam 1.06.
Press red button to execute,
press exit
press red button to SAVE settings and exit.
Tune to Sky Sports or Sky Movies and wait a minute or two, then change channel again.
All channels should now be available.
PLEASE NOTE: if you execute the hypercam more than once it will not work. Also when you plug the dreambox out all channels will be gone but you just have to execute the cam again
Many thanks to those concerned.
I carried this out to a t but when its successfully flashed I cannot use remote to controll it Only way Icould is if I momentarily disconnect power That disconnects cam Any ideas would be very helpful

Does anyone know if there has been an image file released yet ,
for the dreambox in ireland,that allows the hypercam to start itself.
