Error: VirtualDub / Mod / Adobe Premire

Ok when I use virtualdubmod on my computer it doesn't even have an audio tab at the top of the program. Then if I use VirtualDub instead of VirtualDubMod it has the audio tab but doesn't allow me to open up any videos. So I came to the conclustion I must be installing something wrong so what do I do. Also the only reason I am useing VirtualDubMod is because Adobe Premire is messing up. It makes this weird yellow codeing over all my movies and some of my movies started doing it too. It kinda looks like the yellow is actually the video only its not in sync with the actuall video. I have posted everywhere about these problems. Please someone help me! (PS: I would guess its something wrong with Divx Codec but it might also be Windows XP because XP stands for Xtreme PIECE!.) Thanks in advance for any help.
