I'm trying to transcode an anamorphic video stream with TMPGenc along the lines of Doom9's guide, but I can't seem to get the frame rate right. I've tried 29.97 fps, 23.976 fps, 23.976 fps (internally 29.97 fps) with 4:3 pulldown when playback, etc. Every time the video stream either comes out about 10% too short, or 50% too long.

(I have no idea what would happen if I de-anamorphized the video stream and then tried to merge it back into the original DVD structure, but I'm about at the point of trying...)
