I have a huge library of CDG discs that I feel is time to back up since some were damaged recently. I have read the hardware requirments and viewed what my laptop CD rom specs are. They are listed below:

Supported CD Formats: CD-ROM Mode-1, CD-ROM XA, CD-Audio, Mixed Mode CD-ROM (Audio and Data Combined), Photo-CD (Single and Multi-session), CD-I, Video CD, CD-Plus / CD-Extra, CD-Text, CD-R disc (Conforming to Orange Book Part2), CD-RW disc (Conforming to Orange Book Part3)

My question is: will this CD rom work? It shows that CDG are a supported media type, but does not list it in the supported format. This is a slide in removable drive and is extremely expenisive to upgrade if needed.
