Bit torrent works on my computer but bit tornado gets the message "unable to forward port via UPnP. I had been able to use bit torrent until recently. Can anyone help.

Questions:-

1. Do you have a router?

2. Are the ports forwarded on your router?

3. If they are, do you have a firewall?

I'm on a net work which hasn't changed. Other people continue to be able to use bit tornado. Also, when I go to the download site, I can use the "Bit Tornado option" to download the program. But when it comes to using it to download files, it won't work.

Maybe UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) isn't activated. Why don't you ask around your unchangable network and see how the others fixed the problem?

i've been having the same problem, and i notice that if you go under preferences and change UPnP forwarding to type 2 (slow), it seems to work.
