There are many RPMs out there for HDs. I was wondering what you recommend for the PS2 with HD Loader to prevent overheating and getting best performance.
Does it really matter all that much what speed? I have an old Maxtor that is like 3200 or 4500 or something - would it work?
I know Maxtor and Seagate seem to be the HD of choice, but my main concern was getting top performance for my money.
Just to let you know, I used 2 Maxtor hard drives with different rpms and found that there is a difference in loading times, 7200rpm WILL load your games faster than a 3200rpm hd on your PS2 with HDL...!?
