I just installed an update to Roxio ECDC 5 that came pre-installed on my system. Now it won't let me burn at a rate slower than 24X. I want to try to burn at a much slower speed so that I reduce the potential for erors on my audio disc's so that perhaps they won't skip in my car stereo. Thank you for any help you can provide!

I have Roxio ECDC 6 and usually after you click the burn button, a menu pops up. In that menu you should be able to adjust the speed.

Prior to the program update, I could change the speed there as well. Now it won't let me select any speed but 24X.

A complete uninstall of RoxIo Easy CD Cream(a)tor would get the job done. Seriously, I and many others despise Roxio products as they "sometimes" conflict with ASPI layer. Try free buring programs like burnatonce, DeepBurner :)
