is it possible to ftp to an xbox without a mod chip? i'm trying to transfer music and save files from my modded xbox to a standard one, and when i ftp to it, it times out after like 30 seconds. thanks

You cant ftp to a xbox without having it moddified in anyway. The reason why is because you would need a program, like Evox, the creates a ftp connection, in which you can ftp over to. The original xbox dashboard, does not create a ftp connection, therefore not allowing you to connect, in addition explains why you have been timing out every once in a while. What you could try is using a memory pack.
