no sound when converting ogm to avi help!

i haven't seen anyone else run into this problem it seems, but when i use virtual dobmod to convert my .ogm's to .avi's there is no sound. i can play the .ogm's with the divx player and it has sound. what am i doing wrong when converting or what else do i need (codecs?)? i have ffdshow, koepi's xvid, etc, etc installed but nothing seems to work. any ideas??

my bet is, the audio is in vorbis, AVI doesn't really support it, so you might want to transcode the audio. or look for a hack.
