I would really appreciate if anyone could help me on this...

I am trying to play a movie with Polish subtitles - and everything is working fine - except that the Polish characters (ę,ą,ż, etc) don't display properly in the player. (Windows Media Player)

What really confuses me is that I do have the Polish language installed on my system --- and when I open the subtitle file manually (either .txt or .srt) --- it displays just fine!!!

What is going on???
