im about to buy a network adapter and a hard drive, can anybody tell me if the official network adapter is compatable with maxtor or digital western?

western digital does not work. The spacing is slightly off on the WD. Maxtor and Seagate both work fine.

If you are going to use HD Loader/Advance you might have an issue with Seagate hard drives. Seems that not all Seagates work well with them.
