I just get the flashing yellow.. just started today.. I don't believe I've done anything different.. anyone have any ideas? or should I just reinstall?

anybody at all really!!

I've reinstalled winmx after going thru the reg. and deleting all traces of it.... I've uninstalled and reinstalled my network card..reinstalling TCP/IP. I've tried shutting down and uninstalling my zonealarm, which by the way has never given me problems in my 3 yrs experience with winmx.. this is just all of the sudden.. just flashes yellow..
This is on my desktop that runs WinME.
Cable connection to the Internet.
I do not go through a router, just the modem.
I've tried a primary, no luck there either.
I'm stumped
I'm going to call mediacom tomorrow and see if they have any clues.
unless someone on here wants to step up! :)

Calling your ISP is a good idea. They might've blocked some ports.

By any chance, you don't have the Windows XP Internet Connection Firewall activated do you? And if you have any other firewalls enable DMZ on them, otherwise you're going to have to connect through a secondary connection, which means the dreaded "Slow Speeds".

No I don't have window XP on this machine, it's windows ME..

Woops, I misread your second post, sorry!

It might be something that you did that started the problems. In fact, I would find the latest drivers/versions for all internet devices and software that you think might be affecting it.

Everyone is entitled to their own true opinion. Either respect that or don't.
