i have the cd loader and it works fine but when i try and load hot shots on it it comes back with "Error Validating the disc"

thats cause you didn't follow the cd loader instructions. you need to reinsert the swap magic dvd after loading cd loader.

yes i know that and i put the swap magic dvd disc after and i still get the same error

Have you used cd loader before? if not list your exact steps.

1. instert swap magic cd
2. hold down eject button then inster cd loader and hit X button to load
3. now at cd loader menu hit eject button and instert swap magic dvd
4. after the media changes to from cd to dvd i hold down eject and instert hot shots fore then hit X button and then i get the error

at step 3, you need to hit x while swap magic dvd is still in the ps2. then swap for the backup.

alright one more problem the game wont load it just has a black screen and i tried hitman contracts just now too and that works fine. why wont hot shots load its on the same type of disc and i used the same burnin program and by the way thanks for the help

do you have a v7+ ps2? if so, when cd loader loads, hit x and choose the 5v3 no pn option. http://www.swapmagicfix.com

no i dont have ps2 v7+ its an older version dont remeber what one but its v1-6 for sure

hmmm, i don't have the game, so i can't confirm. and i couldn't find any other threads on this subject, so hopefully someone else can confirm if it works or not.

yes you will, if you follow the link in my sig' you can get sm3dvd, and there are burning instructions too, just go to the downloads or noobi help pages

no, but I have used it on loads of other games that need cd/dvdloader, and have never had any prob's, it usually doesn't need a toc refresh either

I have the same problem with Hot Shots Fore. I backed it up on TDK DVD-R at 1X and am using Swap Magic with CD Loader V7 All. I have a Ver 7 ps2 and when I boot it up with the 5v3 NO PN it sits at a black screen before the intro. According to swapmagicfix.com it should be the same boot procedure as Ratchet & Clank Going Commando but for some reason it doesn't work for Hot Shots Fore.
