Ive got Azureus and my downloads are going about 10kb/s. I'm definately not nehind a router and i was just wondering what the best limit to place on uploads was. Ive got a 700kb connection and at present ive limited my uploads to 10kb/s and a maximum number of uploads to 10. Does this sound about right or have i set it wrong?

But then doesn't that make your internet horribly slow? It does to mine, and my upload is 128kbs.

Uploading at more than 25kbs makes my internet go crazy slow. Dial-up slow! :( So I always only upload at 25kbs when I'm surfing the web, and when I'm not, I upload at machine limit.

Machine limit is another word for unlimited. So when you put "0" into the maximum upload speed limit, it means "Machine Limit", which means unlimited.

machine limit actually is usually either

A, the max your computer can go at its currents specs (depending on your internet speed)

B, The maximum your internet connection can manage
