Argh, I did a search for 'memento', but no useful posts came up, which shocks me 'cuz it would appear I'm the only one having this problem...

I can't rip Memento! I'm using Smartripper, I've ripped over 30 movies previously without any problems, but for some reason, I can't get Memento to work. Everytime I try, it freezes around 31% in Smartripper's Movie mode. In File mode, it's freezing around the 250MB area of VTS_01_2.vob. Has anybody else experience this? Can anyone offer some helpful advice?

Just as an addendum, I know for a fact it's not a bad disk. I can watch the movie all the way through without skips or freezes. Also, I've rented the movie from two different stores, and they both freeze at exactly the same moment.

FYI, I'm on Windows XP SP1, AMD Athlon 1700+, DVD/CD-RW combo drive, reading through normal Win-IO mode. I've got the Adaptec ASPI drivers installed, but they can't access my DVD drive anyway, so they're no help. =(
