could anyone tell me how to make cd dvd generator recognize my writer give a simple explination

depending on your writer it might not be possible to make cd/dvd gen recognize it, just let cd/dvd gen create an image file in iml format then convert it to an iso and burn it with your favourite burning software

when i try to make an image it tell me this

" The recording Unit is not connected" then " initialization failed"
The CD/DVD recordinh unit controller version 1.5 appears on the screen, but nothing works.


please help

make your files as required,then click burn image it will ask you to save the iml file save this to c:\ drive then it will throw up two errors click them off,now select file in top left hand corner and select export image send this also to c:/ drive this will send three files then use dos to create your image file.
you can then use any burning software you like
