Does anyone know a way of allowing more than 5 region changes for a DVD player on a laptop.

Basdically I rip numerous DVDs and as I use smartripper, usually have to play them for a few seconds to open all the files.

This in principal is fine, except I have a bunch of DVDs from different regions and want to be able to freely change the region code without the "5 times" restriction.

Any help greatly appreciated.

It depends on the make/model drive. Many of them have region free firmware hacks available at this site:
