A few weeks ago i was having problems with my codecs, so i followed the brilliant guide on afterdawn about installing all the codecs, and it worked, all my files played no problems.
Since then i've been trying to author these files onto a dvd using "Power Producer 2 Gold" it worked fine with most .mpeg's and most .avi. The .mpeg's that wouldn't work i decided to convert the file type's using "Konvertor", i loaded the files into the program, selected what file type i wanted,clicked start but the program popped up an error stating "there is a debugger running in the backround please disable and try again", i have no idea what a debugger is or how to disable it,

I was showing a friend of mine how i fixed my codec problems when i found out that all the files i tried to convert using "Knovertor" won't play anymore,media player states "The source filter for this file could not be loaded" i've tried re-doing the codec guide with no success.
What i would like to know is what is this "debugger" where it is and how to disable it, and am i going to have to give up on these files, it is only the files that came into contact with "Konvertor" that won't play.
