duo 2 modchip v7 system problem

we just installed the duo 2 mod chip into a v7 ps2, and everything looks fine, and when turned on the fan and lights and eject buttons and door work fine, but there is no video or audio at all, the screen flicks with a little white line everytime you reset or put a disc in , but nothing more than that. any ideas ? or suggestions which wires or stuff might have been done wrong? thanks so much

sounds like you have a solder bridge , most likely on the bios .
