If you ask for a place for newbie to start with then here is the link to get you up and running. All steps by steps that walk you through everyone single step. you can't get loss even if you've never done DVD Backup before.

As far as the SPlitting, your CPU 733Mhz might be ok, but for burning it's hella good PC to burn. Let me know if you need further help on my site at...
