Can anyone expalain how to get a DVD sized file to fit on a CD-R? I have been using the Smart Ripper, Dvd2AVI, TMPGenc combo downloaded here from afterdawn.com with great success. The only thing I haven't been able to figure out is why the file size has been 1.1 GB +. I have seen the same movies for download on Morpheus have been under 300mb. What gives? How can I get my ripped DVD's to be this size using this Smart Ripper pack? Thanks

actually, you will find the movie to be 4 or 5 of these 1.1gb files. The average movie is over 5 gigs. What you see at 300 mb is a divx movie. These play great on your pc, but will not play on standard dvd players. To find out more go to www.vcdhelp.com. Here you can find info on vcd,svcd, and divx movies and how to make them.
