i have to convert an avi to mpeg to get tmpge to recognize it. did so with winmpg but now timing is off on sound. burned i robot to vcd and came out ok except for 5 second delay on sound which is too much to watch. does winmpg just suck ? now im trying to go avi to mpeg with fx mpeg writer another free program. does anyone know a avi to mpeg converter that is good enough to keep timing correct ? if i can do that then tmpge will load it fine and it'll burn fine. or maby i can force tmpge to load avi without converting to mpeg first ? that would save alot of time
