Flip Top V4 PS2 making a lot of noise

I just installed the ps2 flip top on my ps2 and now it is making a lot noise when the disc is loading. Is this normal and is there anyway of stoping the the ps2 from making that much noise.

Are you using sm dvd or cd? Alot of people are having problems with the cd version. Also if it is making noise all the time with cd or dvd try loosening the screws on the case a little.

Swap that little round thing from original to to flip top. Solved my problem.

The little round thing is on #11 at this picture
