alright, im interested in getting swapmagic, and i was just wondering what the best choice is... The Flip Top, or the Slide Card? - what has the best succes rate?

The sucess rate is the SAME for both of them, fliptop will cost much more and you will have to remove the top half of your playstation to install it.. just make a slidecard.

but the fliptop is a hell of alot easier to use and there is less chance of damaging your console. so do you wanna pay 20 dollars more for a fliptop or 150 more for a new ps2 when you ruin your current with a slide card?

Nelswick IS right i had a slide card, completely messed up my ps2 now have a new one wiv messiah v2 chip so if you are going for the no solder option flip top is better

hey,

in reply, bascially the slide card you have to take of the front, the is a white bit which you are meant to hook and pull if anything like a scrath should get on it, bye bye ps2
