Hi,

I'm having a real fit with this. I can't seem to get my movies to burn. I've cleaned, defragged, upgraded everything. Nada. The only time I had any luck was when I cleaned the computer and re-installed everything. Then I could burn one, but as soon as I installed additional software, Nada.

I have NERO, but I can't figure it out. Is there a website with step-by-step newbie instructions for doing this with either of these programs? Oh, I'm running a HP xt963 with Windows XP and a 2nd 30 GB drive. The 100i was an add-on.

Surely I won't have to erase everything on my computer every time I want to make a DVD?

I had the identical problem with my 100i and had to put it on an ide channel by itself. Once I did this, I had no further problems.
