Hello, everyone, I'm quite new to the world of all this stuff and I have a few detailed questions which I hope someone can give some in depth answers.

I recently bought Swap Magic DVD version 2.0 and Swap Magic 3.0 CD Version [3.2] along with a slide card. I want to play an original Japanese import game [Saiyuki RELOAD Gunlock] but I've read that I may have to make back ups.

So does that mean I can't put in the original disk but a copy of it into my PS2?

Also, if I want to play the game, which Swap Magic disk do I use? It wasn't until recently until I relized the correct way to use the slide card. However, I don't think I've been sliding what I'm supposed to.

Earlier I made a little bit of progress with the DVD version disk I believe, but the status color was purple/pink! I thought there were only three colors, but my TV does has a history of sometimes showing bad colors. ^_^;

Anyway, some help would be nice. I don't really know what I'm doing...
