Hi,

It appears your burner doesn't have DMA enabled which isn't a good thing since burning a DVD requires the high transfer speeds that DMA provides. This link will show you how to check your DMA settings and change them if needed:

http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/device/storage/IDE-DMA.mspx

If you still can't get your drive into DMA it may help to uninstall the drive through Device Manager by following these steps,

Go to Device Manager >

Expand the tree for DVD/CD ROM Drives >

Find the drive in question, right click it and go to Properties >

Under the Driver tab, select Uninstall then OK.

Now reboot and Windows should detect and reinstall the drive.

Let us know if this helps :)

i also see at the bottom of your log you have incd installed which causes burning related problems , you could try to uninstall that software and see if that helps along with switching your drive to dma mode . hope that helps

Ooooops , edit your original post and remove your SERIAL NUMBER at the beginning !

a focus error is often caused by bad/dirty media or a dirty lens on the writing head.
