I installed VirtualDub - Mod - Nandub and none can't edit the AVI file because of the "Video Source Avi Error" the AVis with VBR could open in nandub but can't can't edit it because of the divx codec on the video!, how can I change it please?
We all learned math in school i never thought that i will need it, but guess what, in computer jobs i use it alot, how? i'll tell you this - dont rely on programs that are for only one thing(like TMEGEnc from encoding or so on) be creative and open your mind for possibilities...
Consider other programs that are for example: for editing, joing, cuting... In Adobe Premiere(for making video files)you can simply open AVI file, maybe change it a little, and save it. You'll get alot options for saving this file like m2v or AVI, use what ever you need for the job that your about to do... You can also split the file in AVI spliter and then join it again in AVI joiner(free small programs)offcourse you'll get the options, but this time options will be specially for AVI files, codecs that you wanna use to encode AVI with(DivX codecs that you wanna change in this case)... I hope your following me, lol. You can also use (if you got winXP) Windows Movie Maker, just open AVI, save it to mov, and then use programs that encode mov to avi(like mov2avi LOL). There are a lot of options out there... Just use your imagination and go from program to another, study nuch as possible small programs and you'll see theres many, many ways to combine one with another, just like in math like i said LOL
I hope this is helpfull, pls notify me or ask for further help, cya
I need to take a course on video editing, in the mean time I was able to separate the video and audio using AVIMux_GUI and VirtualDub, now altough I can open the file fine because no VBR audio is in the way of VirtualDub I still cant' edit it on any program. Adobe premier cost too much money.
no don't use wmm to reencode, reencode is bad, for lossy compression.
about the vbr audio, VirtualDub will attempt to make it into a cbr, which will screw up the audio, badly in video synch. so select no when it ask for it.
it is important to cut them with the correct frames. like the key must be first.
have you install the handler for vdub ?
have ou tried to load other video ?
I was told by a member of the doom that the only possible was to:
"use directshowsource with avisynth and open that in VirtualDub, then you can re-encode, cut, add filters whatever. it is the only way" Does any body here agrees?
