Hi, One of my friend handed over me a Hi-8 35mm tape to convert and burn a VCD for him. When I hooked up with TV the image flickers so much that I can not see the image at all. But the images are normal in LCD screen of Sony DCRTV450. I checked with other my tape and it works fine. My friend who gave me that tape does not know about computer and camcorder. Someone helped him to record that event for him and handed over that tape to him. Any suggestions would be really appreciated. I converted my 25 tapes (hi-8 digital) but this is the first time I encountered the flicker images. Thanks in advance.

I´m not sure, but I think you have an interlaced video,
read this.

If you can see the video in the LCD screen you can transfer it to your PC.
