Windows Rights Manager and a stubborn player..

Hi,

I seem to be getting the message from my Windows Media Player that the video requires rights/licenses etc more and more often. I've updated my licenses using the link in one of the earlier threads on this forum (which incidently i now cant find) but I keep getting the same errors.

I've got an old version of WMP (V 6.4) that's refusing to go away and i think that may be the problem. I've tried to get rid of it, but to no avail, if i delete it manually, it reappears, and AceUtilities doesn't pick it up on it's Uninstall programs list. I've installed the latest version of WMP and then did the rights update bit but i keep getting the same message.

Any suggestions? Or is there a decent player that will play WMV files without needing the Rights Manager?
