DVD BURNS WITH NO AUDIO

O.K. I am using Pinnacle Studio 8 to capture and edit footage from my vcr. I have done a voice over on my file and it looks and sounds great on the pc. however when i burn the dvd file, all i get is video and no audio. i have tried with the "include mpeg audio" box checked as well as unchecked. and both times, i get no audio. have browsed the pinnacle site like crazy but no one seems to have found the solution there or if so, none is posted. their tech support takes forever to get on the phone. any ideas please? thanks a lot.
