Best way to PAL on NTSC mod?

with an NTSC system that has a chip in it, is there any way to play PAL games?

Unless your TV supports both PAL and NTSC signals (multisystem tv) the only way u can play PAL games on a NTSC system in full color and without screen flickering is by having the DMS3 chip, its have a video mode feature wich change the video signal on the tv and on the ps2..otherwise use a pal2ntsc patcher to patch your game image or u can use gameshark codes to change it manually.

hi dany22 I got a quick question and it may be a stupid one, but I am ordering the HD Loader, but what is the difference between the PAL version and the NTSC version? I live in the United States and I don't know which HD Loader I need. The PAL version or the NTSC? I have just a normal Sony 27" TV. Please reply thank you very much. One more question what would be a PAL game or a NTSC game? Is a PAL game for example made from Japan or an import or in Europe, while a NTSC is an American game and/or a game converted to NTSC once the game is release to the US?

hurn.... that's too bad since I have the matrix infinity, not the dms3. I used to be able to convert my PAL dreamcast games over, but that was then. I'll see if I can find that patcher for ps2.


And as the link states, North America is NTSC.
