i use winmx .lately my screen has been freaking out .it flashes goes all white and then some areas come back up .doesn't seem to affect performance , but is very annoying any suggestions?

I dont see why this should be anything to do with the WinMX programme itself but try un-installing, re-booting then installing WinMX again!
Do you have the correct (latest) drivers for you graphic's card?
Have you run any virus checks recently?
