i was just reading thresd iso to big
i heard the new gta is going to be big or dual layer.
any one know anything
does ps2 play dl??????

GTA San Andreas is going to be DVD9 it says on swapmagicfix.com to rip to DVD5

Ps2 can play dl. You will need a dl burner if you want to make a 1:1 copy and a modchip that supports it. All of the newer modchips support it and even some of the older modchips such as magic 3.1.
For swap magic users you will have to rip it to dvd5 because you cant play dvd9 with swap magic.

You can get a cheap one for about £50. If you want to burn dl then you will need to buy dual layer dvd+r discs which are pretty expensive, about £5 a disc.

He is just finding out info for when it comes out.
Because you can tback it up with a normal dvd burner you need a dl burner and a modchip that plays dvd9 or for magic discs you have to rip it to dvd5.

yep, cant wait its going to be so class.
Going to pre-order mine on saturday so i will get it on the 29th october. Make a few backups because if it was to break i would be severley devestated, lol.

That is only to test the game so i cant see it being delayed again unless they find alot of bugs in it.
