championship manager 03/04 copy protection.

What copy protection does this game use?

I will be using alcohol 120% and i have a pioneer 106d which is a sheep 1 burner. I know how to back it up using alcohol 120% but i need to know what protection it uses.

The protection is SecuROM (don't you have Clony XXL?). Such protection identify a 'genuine' CD, which has a special electronic fingerprint that only very good burners duplicate, from a copy. But since you have Alcohol 120%, why dont you simply 'mount' the image and use the virtual CD to check if a 'correct' Cd is on the drive?
