I've burned a few movies onto Memorex media using a pioneer 104 and it plays perfect on my Xbox. The Xbox won't read CD-Rs but DVD-Rs are no problem, go figure.

I burned The Lord of the Rings and it played perfectly on my XBox, my friends PS2 and PC.

Used DVD Decrypter, IFOEdit095 and RecordNow Max 4.10 with DVDPro White/Purple.

The XBox can play DVD movies without a mod chip but you need the $30 DVD kit to play the DVD. I don't know about playing DVD movies with a modchip. Don't have a modchip. I do know that DVDPro White/Purple DVD-R media burned with a pioneer 104 will work in the XBox.

Make sure it is the RecordNow Max 4.10 version. Previous versions may only have CD burning capabiilities.
Make sure you have Re

You also have to use IFOedit095 to strip out streams and do all that other stuff unless the DVD is less than 4.7GB. You should be able to just burn all the files to the DVD without changing any settings. Maybe read the help on burning files to a DVD.

Yes, I am Italian but I live in America. My father was born in Ragusa, Sicily.

Wait, let me restate that. You must use DVDDecrypter to backup DVDs whether they are less than 4.7gb or not. You need to get the files off the DVd and the only way to do that is to use DVDDecrypter. Or you could use Smartripper but I prefer DVDDecrypter.

I'm live in Italy, also I use a Ifoedit to strip the dvd are more 4.7Gb....

but I would know how type setting use in RecordNow Max to record the folder AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS....

in Nero I use DVD UDF and then I do thw two folder audio_ts and video_ts and in video_ts I copy all vob files that ifoedit created.

What type step I must do to create dvd on RecordNow Max....

When I loaded RecordNow Max, it launched a wizard and asked me if what type of disk I wanted to burn. I said Data DVD and selected the VIDEO_TS and the AUDIO_TS directories. It burned the files to the DVD and it played perfectly.

Why ??

Select Data CD then it will ask you to insert a blank DVD or CD, just put a blank DVD-R in your DVD burner and you are on your way.
