I have just made a backup of Fifa 2004, using dvd decrypter..
Using AR2 as my boot method, i went to the start game without code, it then says to insert the game, done the swap method and inserted my burnt copy.. but when i click X to start game it just stays on the action replay screen.. all this backing up is driving my crazy! y cant nothing work! please help!
btw i am using an NEC rw drive and bulkpaq dvd-r's with a v7 ps2 and AR2..
- i also done the swap for an original game and it still freezes, what could be the problem?
thanks in advance

AR2 is cd based and will only boot PS2 cd games not dvd. If you want to boot dvdr games you need cd loader.

you will only be able to use cd loader... burn it to a cdr and boot it with AR2.
once cd loader has booted up press eject, swap it for dvd original wait, press X then swap original for backup using slidecard, press X again to play fifa : ) no problems

There is no title.db for cdloader. just burn the cue file with Alcohol or similar program. thats all you have to do : )

The titleman program is used for exploits, not cdloader.

Ok, i downloaded CDloader from that site, burnt the CUE file using Alcohol, put ar2 into my ps2, let it load, clicked on start without codes, it then tells to insert the game and press X or to go back using O. I done the swap for CDloader and then pressed X, it just made a funny noise.. stayed black for a few seconds then came up with insert a ps2 format CD (red cloud)
what am i doing rong?

Try pressing eject and swap on the without codes screen, thats what I did and it worked. also you have to press x when the tray has gone in and the cd starts to spin, just keep pressing x. If it doesnt work, reset and try it again.

once you learn how to boot a cd-r, you could make a cogswap loader exploit disc, load it to your mem card and just use a psx game to load your backups

load AR2, choose to start game without codes, you will need to use a swipe card or flip top to swap for your backup cd, you will have to practice doing it untill you can swap quick enough, the quickest method is to take the lid off the ps2 and the cover off the dvd drive then remove the magnet from the cover and use that to hold your AR2 disc in place, this way you will see when it has stopped spinning and you can lift the magnet off and quickly swap for your backup, then press x and it should load, if you use this method to install the cogswap loader onto your mem card you can then use a home made slide card or flip top to load games from then on.
