i have no idea what to do w/ a mod chip...i wanna buy a mod chip....but i dont no what they r for

Read the forums. Lots of great info on the different things you can do. But as a basic tutorial: you'll be able to make backups of the games you own either on disk or directly to your xbox hard drive. You can watch movies on dvd backup or streamed from your pc, listen to music- mp3's wma's cd's or streaming radio. Check your local weather, surf the net, view pics, and tons of stuff more.
