hey. i've just started to burn some dvds, using dvdbackup, dvd2one, and toast. it all seems to go well, the dvdr copy plays in my dvd player, until the last chapter or two, then it freezes up... what's wrong?? is there anything i can do? thanks for your help.

Two common causes are 1) low quality media or 2) burning too close to the edge of the disc. Or both!

Two great solutions are to 1) get quality media such as Ritek G04/05, Taiyo Yuden, Maxell or Verbatim Metal AZO and 2) reduce the target file size down to 4.2 or 4.3 GB to keep from burning too close to the edge of the disc where defects are most common. Or both!
