Greetings,

I have burned probably close to 300 DVD's now and I recently found out about 100 have the dreaded CMC media code(from both TDK and Memorex). I was just wondering - has ANYONE had success with these at all?? So far to be honest I have not seen a problem at all with my burned CMC disks(burned at 4X). However, the majority are slightly less than a year old by now. Should I be concerned that in another year most of these disks could be coasters?

I ONLY buy Verbatim with the MCC media code now, so thank God for this forum!!

Only time will tell. I've about ten Imation CMC's burned over a year ago that have held up so far but I also burned them slowly and have stored them in a cool room :)
