I'm looking at the most cost effective way to play backups on my ps2. This includes the memory card exploits, fliptops, and hd loader stuff. I've read a lot of threads but I got kind of confused by everything. I have a v4 ps2, gameshark, and sharkport.

Right now, I figure the fliptop + swap magic would cost around $40. But, I would have to pay for blank dvds($40) and have to swap discs all the time. I could get a hd($60) and a network adaptor($20), but I won't be able to go online right? With the second option, I would also need to get hd loader (more $)?

In short, what options and equipment do I need provided I have a gameshark and do not want to have to use a slidecard?? Looking for the most affordable method since I'm a broke college student. Thanks.

or a magic 3.1 modchip for only 6 bucks and 5 dollars shipping at http://www.impactmods.com (if you can solder)

yep you could buy one of those, but this hdd is going to sky rocket you don't even have to install a modchip or even a single solder.

which one sounds better? warranty void or intact ?

you still have to order hd loader. Also, you can only fit a limited number of games on the hd.

V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader
Pioneer 107, ritek g05
DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, Nero
