Has anybody succesfully patched ESPN NHL Hockey for Online Use?

I tried patching my backup copy with the disc ID from the original disc. I receive a DNAS 402 error when trying to load the backup. I then tried a different disc ID with the same result. I'm waiting for my chip to go into standby mode so that should not be a problem. Any advice would be appreciated.
