Hot Shots Golf Fore and freezing at 9th hole, anyone?

Well I successfully backed up this game and every now in then in single player tournament mode my game freezes just before the 9th hole. So does anyone else run into this problem. I used nero to back up my game. Then I am using Swap Magic and DVD loader v7 on my v9 PS2 fliptop. Game works fine other then that, I havent had a chance to patch a DNAS file on it yet so im not sure about online play yet. Any suggestions or comments is great, thanks.
