Need Help backing up a movie

I'm trying to back up a movie that I own. I downloaded both DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink. I found the guides on this website to be very helpful but when I try to burn the image to a disk I can not open it up from either of the programs menu folder. I can find the backup of the movie on my harddrive and they play perfectly. I used DVD decrypter and ran it through DVD Shrink to compress it down to a smaller format. I know the guide said I want to select the .dvd file extension but I can't find it.

Can someone help me with this.

Are you setting the "Target" to "Iso Image" in shrink prior to transcoding ?. This is the only way that DVD Decrypter can be used to burn this specific image file.
