how can i get more speed on eMule? Dela

i use eMule as P2P cuz many people recomend it. i have a DSL 512/128 connection my download capacities (shown is eMule 64 kB/s) but it is set to 57 Kb/s my download speed is maximum 23 kB/s i never get 40 or sumtin. As Dela said in his guide for eMule i got the firewall off and put the port 4662 to 80. But i dont know why my speed dpesent get better. im new to this P2P and dont know if it has to do with sharing a lot of files or sumting but all the files i download i share them so far i have like 6 files 3 are like 600 MB each and other are small files. If anone can give me some advices so the speed gets better it would be greatful. Thnx to all.
