MyDVD just stopped working

I got MyDVD 4.5 with my computer 6 months ago. Have been making my own DVDs with no problem, until a week ago. Now getting Unknown Error when trying to capture movies, then when I re-try, MyDVD just keeps processing until I have to force end it.
WinXP Pro, Athlon 64, 1 gb RAM, 120GB drive.
