matrix infinity soldering problem

i connected all my wires to my ps2 and turned my ps2 on before i put the mod chip in to see if it still worked. all i got is a black screen. should i continue to put the mod chip in. i dont want to ruin a $50 dollar chip!!!

please help thanks!

yes connect the chip to the wires i did that too and i just get black screen but after i connect the chip everything work just fine.

I live in Alhambra, how much would it cost me, and what chip you think i should get? I was thinking of getting a dms3+ or maybe duo2. I just want to be able to play my back up games, but i want something that would last..
